Requirements
• Startup mentality: self-directed, adaptable, and comfortable finding solutions in ambiguity. • 5+ years of product design experience with a portfolio showcasing consumer digital products. • Deep understanding of conversion funnels, payment experiences, and user psychology. • Track record of shipping polished designs in resource-constrained, high-velocity environments. • Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, FullStory, etc.) and willingness to experiment with AI-assisted workflows. • Strong communicator who thrives working alongside product managers, engineers, and stakeholders. • Bonus: Experience in healthcare, telehealth, or regulated industries.
Responsibilities
• Create seamless, intuitive experiences across the patient journey including onboarding, provider matching, appointment booking, billing, and telehealth sessions. • Design solutions that remove friction and increase patient engagement with mental health services. • Accommodate multiple payment and coverage scenarios in a unified, elegant experience. • Build and maintain scalable design systems to ensure consistency and quality across the product suite. • Balance speed with craft by shipping polished work quickly without sacrificing user experience. • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions. • Partner closely with engineering for high-fidelity implementation of designs into functional products. • Incorporate AI tools into the design process for faster iteration, personalization enhancement opportunities identification in patient matching, and overall experience improvement. • Take full ownership of design outcomes balancing user needs with business goals while navigating ambiguity and competing priorities confidently. • Present design work to leadership demonstrating strong rationale and strategic alignment for the proposed solutions. • Foster collaborative relationships across disciplines, articulating ideal directions in cross-functional team settings.
