Experience with multiple BI platforms, preferably Sigma
Prior experience leading BI platform migrations
Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments where you had to balance scrappiness with scalability
Experience presenting to C-suite audiences or publishing external thought leadership
Strong python skills
Experience in a two-sided marketplace or e-commerce environment
Knowledge of the cannabis industry and marketplace
The base pay range for this position is $159,738.00- $184,994.00 per year

Responsibilities
Create high quality, scalable analytic and data products, dashboards, and reports using Streamlit.
Partner with executives from various departments as their data strategist to help them achieve objectives through data insights.
Lead the migration process from Tableau to a new BI solution while ensuring minimal business disruption.
Design and build executive dashboards that include weekly operational metrics, board-level KPIs, and strategic planning tools for senior executives' use in running the business.
Publish external thought leadership on cannabis market trends collaboratively with the content team to influence industry standards.
Define, build, and document new metrics within dbt Cloud that capture specific business requirements using Snowflake as a data warehouse platform.
Translate ambiguous or unclear business requests into actionable plans for multiple analysts by providing clear guidance on how these can be executed against the available datasets.
Effectively communicate complex technical themes to non-technical audiences, ensuring that all stakeholders understand data insights and strategic recommendations made from analysis work.
Turn SQL queries into repeatable performant models in dbt Cloud independently without assistance from other developers for future analyses or reports generation.
Guide and mentor junior colleagues on the team, as well as across the organization by conducting code reviews, pair coding sessions, providing architectural support when needed, and sharing best practices to improve overall data analysis quality within Weedmaps.
Champion data quality and analytical rigor throughout all projects while setting a high standard for what good looks like in terms of reporting accuracy, insightfulness, and strategic alignment with business objectives at Weedmaps.
