Flock - Hardware Support Engineer, Aviation

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field. • 2–4 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics support, IoT device management, or a similar field-heavy engineering role. • Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and basic command-line navigation. • Experience with hardware diagnostic tools (e.g., Multimeters, Oscilloscopes) and digital monitoring dashboards (e.g., Grafana, Sigma, or similar telemetry tools). • Demonstrated effective communication skills, specifically the ability to translate technical hardware failures into clear, actionable documentation. • Excellent teamwork skills with a proven ability to learn from senior leads and execute within a cross-functional environment. • Experience with PLC programming or industrial control systems. • Familiarity with Git and an understanding of firmware/software deployment cycles. • Knowledge of battery management systems (BMS) or automated electromechanical systems. • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (or a willingness to get one). • Feeling uneasy that you haven’t ticked every box?
