Requirements
• Location: Bangalore • CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification • 3–4 years of experience in finance or controllership roles • Experience in a startup, technology company, or Big 4 advisory • Strong understanding of Ind AS and financial reporting standards • Experience managing audits and regulatory compliance • Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills • Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills • Good communication and stakeholder management skills • Exposure to international entity structures (Singapore/US) • Experience with ESOP accounting and cap table management • Familiarity with financial systems and automation tools
Responsibilities
• Financial Reporting & Accounting • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes • Prepare financial statements in accordance with Ind AS • Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records • Maintain chart of accounts and accounting policies • Controllership & Compliance • Oversee statutory compliance including Companies Act, GST, TDS, and other regulatory filings • Manage statutory, tax, and internal audits • Work closely with external auditors and advisors • Ensure strong internal financial controls • Financial Operations • Manage AP, AR, payroll accounting, and expense management • Oversee vendor payments and reconciliations • Ensure timely closure of books and reconciliations • Financial Analysis & Management Reporting • Build management reports, variance analyses, and financial dashboards • Support budgeting and forecasting processes • Prepare financial insights for leadership decision-making • Systems & Process Improvement • Build and automate financial processes and reporting • Implement and improve finance systems, workflows, and controls • Drive process improvements to support scale • Strategic Finance Support • Support fundraising, due diligence, and investor reporting • Assist with ESOP accounting and cap table management • Own international entity accounting and consolidation
