Requirements
• Experience in developing communications strategies for live commerce platforms. • Ability to build understanding and credibility of new business models among audiences. • Strong relationships with media outlets and third parties are required. • Crisis management skills, including real-time escalation handling and playbook development. • Experience in leading a communications function from the ground up is preferred but not mandatory as this will be your first comms hire for France; however, experience with similar roles would be beneficial. • Must live within commuting distance of our London office hub (implied requirement).
Responsibilities
• Oversee all communication strategies within France's operations to ensure alignment with company goals and brand messaging. • Develop and implement comprehensive PR campaigns for various products/services across multiple channels including digital media, print publications, events, etc. • Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders such as department heads, executives, board members, investors to ensure alignment of communication strategies at all levels within the organization. • Collaborate closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, sales) and external partners/agents for integrated campaigns that support overall business objectives. • Monitor media coverage across various platforms including print, digital, broadcast to assess brand perception and identify opportunities or issues requiring attention. • Develop a robust crisis communication plan in case of negative publicity affecting the company's reputation. • Regularly review and update internal communications policies and procedures as needed based on feedback from employees across different levels within the organization, industry trends, etc. • Provide training to team members (e.g., junior PR staff) in communication best practices including media relations, writing skills, social media management, crisis handling, etc.
