Requirements
• 2–5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role • Proven ability to manage high-volume transactional workloads with accuracy and efficiency • Strong understanding of AR processes, including invoicing, collections, and cash application • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth or startup environment preferred • Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel (ERP experience a plus) • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions • Proficient with Stripe, Quickbooks, Excel, Claude, Hubspot and Slack • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines • Experience with SaaS or usage-based billing models • Familiarity with automation tools and process improvement initiatives • Exposure to audit support and compliance requirements
Responsibilities
• Generate and issue a high volume of accurate customer invoices on a recurring and ad hoc basis • Monitor accounts to ensure timely collections and follow up on overdue balances • Apply daily cash receipts and reconcile discrepancies across multiple payment methods • Investigate and resolve billing issues, disputes, and customer inquiries • Maintain accurate AR aging reports and provide regular updates to management • Support the sales team with all customer and vendor form management • Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure billing accuracy and alignment • Assist in improving AR processes, systems, and automation as the company scales • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
