Requirements
• Proven hands-on Software Development experience. • Proven working experience in Java development. • Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java platforms. • Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns. • Profound insight of Java. • Experience in working/designing microservices. • Good knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate). NoSql knowledge is desirable. • Experience with test-driven development. • AWS knowledge is a plus. • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. • Written and spoken English. • Be a team player.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain software systems in various programming languages as required for the position. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and implement features within project timelines. • Ensure code quality through rigorous testing procedures including unit tests, integration tests, and system tests where applicable. • Troubleshoot software issues by analyzing error logs and using debugging tools when necessary. • Continuously monitor the performance of systems to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies that need optimization. • Stay updated with emerging technologies relevant to our projects, such as cloud computing services, databases, APIs, etc., for potential integration into current and future workloads. • Document codebase thoroughly using appropriate tools/methodologies ensuring maintainability by other team members or new hires in the organization. • Participate actively in code reviews with peers to uphold coding standards within our development practices while providing constructive feedback on others' contributions. • Communicate effectively and regularly with stakeholders, including project managers, product owners, clients, or end users as needed for clarity of requirements and expectations regarding the software being developed.
