Wisp - Senior Software Engineer

• We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team of Full-Stack Engineers in building products that empower our patients. This role spans our product and engineering organizations, and will regularly influence and inform priorities across the company. You love mentorship and are excited to collaborate with fellow engineers to develop and implement architectural and technical standards. You bring a product-based mindset and are equally excited to impact our patients’ lives as you are to build software. • You have 4+ years of Full-Stack Engineering experience, or equivalent depth gained through other paths. • You have proven experience with a modern backend language/framework (e.g. Python, Flask, Django) — we’re happy to consider engineers who are deep in a comparable stack (Node, Ruby, Go, etc.) and can ramp quickly. • You have proven experience using AI dev tools. • You have proven experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred). • You have professional experience working in a cloud-based environment — AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure. • You bring a collaborative approach that empowers other engineers on the team. • Experience working with sensitive data (such as protected health information) or in a regulated environment. • AI product-feature experience (chatbots, product recommendations, etc.). • Our Stack • Our Stack • Tools we use: Claude, Notion • What We Bring To You • A fully remote environment, including a monthly Wi-Fi allowance to support our remote-first environment. • $500 Work Better Stipend so you can have the optimal work-from-home set-up. • DeskPass membership to empower you to work where you thrive best and connect with other team members across the U.S. and Canada. • Uncapped Time Off to recharge—and we track to ensure employees are taking at least 20 days off per year. • Talkspace membership to provide you with immediate mental healthcare access and guidance. • Our $1,000/year Learning Stipend to enable your professional growth and development. • 100% monthly premium coverage for Health, Vision, and Dental insurance for you and your dependents. • 3% 401(k) match, dollar for dollar, that vests your first day (read: no waiting period). • Please note: This is a deadline-based posting.
