Requirements
• You have experience designing mobile consumer products and can contribute independently to end-to-end design work. • You know how to craft thoughtful interaction design, information architecture, and user journeys. • You are comfortable working across ambiguity and can balance multiple product areas or shifting priorities. • You care about understanding user needs and grounding your decisions in research and data. • You have experience designing for mobile platforms and understand iOS and Android conventions. • You are curious about personalization, AI, and how intelligent systems shape user experiences and trust. • You communicate your design decisions clearly and can connect user needs to product outcomes. • You enjoy collaborating with cross-functional partners and actively seek feedback to improve your work. • You are comfortable using AI-enabled tools as part of your workflow. • You have a portfolio that demonstrates your design process, thinking, and impact. • Where You'll Be • This role is based in London or Stockholm. • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! Responsibilities
• Contribute to the design quality of high-priority features across the teams portfolio, moving between projects as product strategies evolve. • Design across core Spotify surfaces that drive long-term engagement, retention, and user satisfaction. • Work on a range of experiences—from social sharing to playlist curation and library organization—adapting as priorities evolve. • Frame design problems clearly by defining user needs, success criteria, constraints, and tradeoffs. • Explore multiple concepts and directions, knowing when to go deep and when to pivot based on insights and feedback. • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, research, and data partners to bring ideas to life. • Leverage AI-powered tools to explore ideas, synthesize insights, prototype, and improve design efficiency and quality. • Take ownership of the end-to-end design process, from early exploration through to final execution and iteration. • Contribute to the broader design community by sharing work, feedback, and learnings.
