Capstone Investment Advisors - DevOps Engineer
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in development or IT Operations for a financial services company • University degree preferred • Hands-on experience with multiple DevOps tools • Infrastructure-as-code systems (Terraform, Puppet, etc.) • CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) • Source Control Management (GitHub, SVN, etc.) • Scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.) • Containerization Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes.) • Experience with public cloud management and associated automation (AWS, Azure, etc.) • Demonstrated ability to gather and translate business and technical requirements into reproducible and resilient technology systems • Continuously assess current systems and processes and recommend modifications where appropriate
Responsibilities
• Administer and support the firm’s DevOps systems – Including but not limited to Puppet, Jenkins, GitHub, and SVN • Manage software compilation, deployment, and lifecycle management for the firm’s core application platforms • Administer and automate the firm’s Linux systems, including resource management, continuity and resiliency planning, security operations, and patching / upgrade lifecycle management • Monitor and troubleshoot core systems, identifying solutions to resolve issues and recommending changes to improve performance • Support business and technology development teams with dependency resolution and software testing methodologies

Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
