Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years in a consulting organization or health system environment • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required • CPA license preferred but not required • Must have strong analytical skills and familiarity with working with complex financial data sets • Must have a baseline understanding of cash versus accrual basis of accounting • Must have a baseline understanding of the interaction between balance sheet, income statement, and the cash flow statement • An understanding of Healthcare financial accounting and reporting, including reimbursement, month-end close, and net revenue analysis, is preferred

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly net revenue close process for hospital and health system clients, including analyzing financial results, identifying variances, and helping ensure accurate and timely reporting. • Analyze complex financial and operational data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities that impact net revenue, reimbursement, and financial performance. • Partner directly with clients and internal teams to investigate financial questions, explain findings, and provide clear, actionable recommendations. • Manage multiple client engagements and special projects, balancing competing priorities, deadlines, and deliverables in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. • Support and mentor less experienced team members by sharing technical knowledge, reviewing work, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
