Requirements
• A thoughtful, technically strong frontend engineer with experience building reliable interfaces for complex systems. You have shipped production frontend applications and enjoy working closely with backend and infrastructure engineers to expose powerful systems through clear, well-structured user interfaces. • You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity and contributing across the full frontend development lifecycle. You’re excited to help establish front-end foundations in a growing system and are comfortable making and refining technical decisions around architecture, state management, and shared UI patterns. You care deeply about performance, usability, and developer experience, and you take pride in building software that operators and engineers rely on every day. • 2–5 years of professional experience building frontend applications. • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript. • Hands‑on experience with at least one major modern frontend framework (Vue.js, React, Angular/Svelte also relevant) • Familiarity with Node.js environments and frontend build tooling. • Solid understanding of component-based architecture, state management, and frontend application design. • Experience making technical decisions in frontend codebases, including tradeoffs around architecture, performance, and maintainability. • Understanding of UX and UI design principles, especially for complex or data-heavy applications. • Ability to design, debug, test, and document well-structured frontend code. • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. • Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows. • Experience implementing role-based access control (RBAC) or permissioned frontend systems. • Familiarity with data visualization libraries and performance-sensitive UI patterns. • Experience with frontend testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines. • Experience working with gRPC, Connect-Web, or API-driven frontend architectures. • Familiarity with infrastructure, networking, or observability concepts (e.g., Envoy Proxy). • Experience building internal tools, admin panels, or operational dashboards.
Responsibilities
• Build modern, scalable frontend applications that support internal datacenter and infrastructure workflows. • Help define and evolve frontend architecture, shared components, and UI standards as the system grows. • Own frontend features end-to-end, collaborating closely with backend and infrastructure engineers. • Implement performant, maintainable, and intuitive user interfaces and data-dense views for operational systems.. • Contribute across the full development lifecycle, including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration. • Improve frontend build pipelines, tooling, and architecture to increase reliability and developer productivity. • Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to uphold high engineering standards. • Help scope and prioritize work, balancing feature development, technical debt, and operational needs.
