Requirements
• 7+ years in SEO, with at least 2–3 years leading the function for a consumer brand • Track record of growing organic traffic and revenue at scale, with demonstrable commercial impact • Strong across all three pillars: content, technical and off-page • Experience shaping content strategy and partnering with editorial, brand and product • Sharp point of view on AI search (LLM visibility, AI Overviews, GEO) and how it’s reshaping the discipline • Strong commercial communicator — can earn the trust of finance, product and engineering • Demonstrable use of AI in your SEO workflow • Experience in financial services, regulated, or YMYL categories • Experience building an SEO function from scratch • Experience hiring and managing technical SEO and content specialists • YOU’RE A GOOD FIT IF YOU’RE: • A first-principles thinker — you can argue from data, not just from received wisdom • Hands-on but strategic — you run the team and roll up your sleeves • Commercially driven — you measure success in revenue, not impressions • Curious about how AI is changing search and confident navigating the shift • Calm and credible with finance, product and engineering stakeholders
Responsibilities
• Strategy & Roadmap: • Own the SEO strategy across Zable, Lendable and Autolend • Set ambitious targets for organic traffic, revenue and visibility — and own delivery • Define the content strategy in partnership with editorial, brand and product • Lead our approach to AI search and LLM visibility • Team & Function: • Hire, manage and develop the SEO team (starting with a Technical SEO Specialist) • Build the operating model — what’s in-house, what’s agency, what’s automated • Set the SEO bar and embed SEO thinking across marketing and product • Own the technical SEO foundations — site architecture, schema, site speed, crawl • Drive editorial and content output — briefs, optimisation, distribution • Build and execute the link-building and digital PR strategy • Track and report on SEO performance • Apply AI across keyword research, content production, optimisation and reporting • Build the workflows and automations that let a small team punch above its weight • LIFE AT LENDABLE
