Requirements
• 6+ years in backend software development • Strong proficiency in Kotlin or Java • Demonstrated expertise in REST API design • Deep experience with PostgreSQL and transactional workflows • Practical exposure to Stripe or similar payment platforms • Experience working with Kafka or equivalent messaging systems • Hands-on knowledge of Linux environments • Background in application security and secure coding principles • Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code). • Hands-on experience with Agentic Coding best practices, including leveraging AI agents to deliver end-to-end features
Responsibilities
• Build REST APIs with Kotlin or Java focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance. • Implement secure, performant integrations with payment APIs such as Stripe. • Design and build RESTful services and event-driven architectures. • Manage data storage using relational databases like PostgreSQL. • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and testing automation processes. • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams for end-to-end solutions.
