Requirements
• 6+ years of hands-on experience using data to drive product or platform decisions • Strong experience with experimentation, including scenarios where standard A/B testing is not enough • Solid practical knowledge of causal inference methods and when to apply them • Highly analytical and comfortable reasoning about complex, interconnected systems • Excellent SQL skills and experience building data models • Strong Python or R skills for statistical analysis • Experience working closely with engineering teams on technical systems • Able to independently lead ambiguous, high-impact analytical projects • Clear communicator who can explain complex concepts and trade-offs to stakeholders • Experience with marketplace, ranking, or decision systems • Exposure to large-scale backend or platform products • Experience designing experimentation infrastructure or tooling
Responsibilities
• Own analytics for the Offers Management Platform • Develop a deep understanding of how offers are requested, saved and distributed • Translate complex system behaviour into clear metrics and models • Act as the analytical reference point for all questions related to offers system performance • Experimentation & causal inference • Design and own experimentation strategies for system-level changes where classic A/B testing is not appropriate • Ensure statistical excellence and clear decision-making in high-impact experiments • Product & engineering collaboration • Work closely with engineers to understand implementation details and data generation mechanisms • Influence system design to improve observability and measurability • Partner with product managers to define success criteria, trade-offs, and long-term platform strategy • Insights & enablement • Build scalable data models, dashboards, and monitoring to track system health and performance • Perform deep-dive analyses to identify inefficiencies, unintended consequences, and optimization opportunities • Clearly communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Raise the analytics bar • Contribute to experimentation and causal inference best practices across the analytics chapter • Mentor other analysts and help define standards for system-level analysis • You will report to Gleb - our Marketplace Analytics Lead, and work closely with: • Product managers responsible for the Offers Management Platform • Backend engineers building large-scale decision systems • Data scientists working on models and optimization • A horizontal analytics chapter for knowledge sharing and peer review
