Requirements

• You love developing and growing people and have experience in leading, coaching, or mentoring individuals and teams. • You’re passionate about software engineering best practices and love to have an impact on large-scale tech problems. • You have proven experience working in an agile development environment with complicated and ambitious business requirements. • You strive to build capabilities that deliver a great, safe and trusted experience, to our internal customers and to Spotify users across the world. • Experience leading software engineering teams or projects (e.g., mentoring junior engineers, setting technical direction, etc.).Experience with the design of software systemsExperience working towards strategic goals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Where You'll Be • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, you can be within the North America region as long as we have a work location. • This team operates within the Eastern Standard time zone for collaboration. • The United States base range for this position is $164,448- $234,926 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers through coaching, mentoring, feedback and hands-on career development. • Support timely delivery of technical solutions to address business needs. • Advocate and advance modern, agile engineering practices and help develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices. • Reinforce a healthy, collaborative engineering culture. • Grow the technical expertise of your team. • Facilitate collaboration with other engineers, product managers, and designers to solve challenging problems that affect all Spotifiers.
