• Lead the design and development of new Moonpig products from concept to launch. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, engineering, and supply chain for product planning and execution. • Conduct user research and testing to inform product designs that meet customer needs and preferences. • Create detailed sketches, prototypes, and mockups of products using various design software tools. • Review existing Moonpig catalogues and identify opportunities for new or updated items based on market trends and consumer feedback. • Develop creative concepts with the Product Design team to ensure a cohesive product line that aligns with brand identity. • Oversee production processes, ensuring designs are accurately translated into physical products while maintaining quality standards. • Monitor industry developments in packaging design and materials for potential integration into Moonpig's offerings. • Attend regular team meetings to discuss project progress, brainst0ker ideas, and address any challenges that arise during the product development cycle. • Prepare presentations showcasing new designs or updates to stakeholders within Moonpig for feedback and approval before moving forward with production. • Stay informed about emerging design trends in ecommerce packaging by attending industry events, webinars, and workshops when possible.
