Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a recognized university. • Around 3–5 years of post-qualification experience, with strong experience in employment and labour law (law firm and/or in-house). • Must be open to individual learning and development. • Strong research, drafting, and communication skills. • Ability to produce original legal analysis, with careful validation and cross-checking of sources. • Committed to acting as a trusted legal business partner. • Prior exposure to multi-jurisdictional or global employment law matters is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house legal advice and support on a wide range of employment and labour law matters, including employee relations, benefits, policies, grievances, exits, and related strategic initiatives. • Identify and assess legal risks and opportunities in employment matters and provide clear, practical, and business-focused guidance. • Conduct research on employment laws and practices across multiple jurisdictions and prepare concise jurisdiction-specific summaries and recommendations. • Monitor and analyse developments in labour and employment laws globally and keep the team informed of key changes and their potential impact on Commvault. • Support and manage employment-related projects, policy updates, and compliance initiatives from start to finish. • Draft, review, and maintain employment agreements, templates, and policies to ensure legal compliance and consistency across jurisdictions. • Assist in handling employment disputes, claims, and coordination with external counsel where required. • Take ownership of assigned matters, including independently driving research, analysis, and delivery of advice. • Build and maintain strong relationships with HR, business stakeholders, and colleagues across regions to deliver consistent and trusted legal support. • Contribute to the overall development of the Global Employment Law function by sharing knowledge, driving efficiencies, and promoting best practices.
