Requirements
• Proven experience as an instructional designer, learning architect, or a similar role designing materials for adult learners • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and adhere to project deliverables. • High level of creativity and innovation within learning solution design • Experience of prompt engineering principles for effective interaction with AI models • Experience working in an enterprise or custom learning environment • Formal or informal people leadership experience, particularly when overseeing the creation of content • Experience working within regulated structures (e.g., UK Apprenticeship Levy) is a significant plus
Responsibilities
• Use a range of methods (qualitative, quantitative and AI powered) to analyse and evaluate root cause issues being solved for in learning customisation requests • Develop concise yet thoughtful proposals to allow cross functional leaders to effectively evaluate and direct investment to the right customised learning solutions • Utilise generative AI and prompt engineering to rapidly prototype proposed solutions, generate content outlines, and suggest innovative learning activities • Develop project and resourcing plans, including schemes of work for contractors to support in adapting learning materials • Develop structures and systems to project manage solutions at different stages of development, identifying the right internal stakeholders who need to see the solution through to launch and the right systems to check they are on track with tasks • Collaborate with product owners and SMEs to ensure accuracy and relevance of customised learning content, integrating their expertise into both the planning and quality assurance stages • Build effective working relationships with customer success managers, account executives and sales leaders, ensuring that you are a trusted thought partner in how to improve learning for key customer accounts • Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to measure the effectiveness and impact of learning initiatives, making recommendations for improvement based on data and feedback.
