DoubleVerify (DV Scibids) - Sr. Data Engineer I

• You have 3+ years of experience in data engineering, backend engineering, or a similar role. • You have strong programming skills in Python and SQL; experience with Java, Rust, or similar languages is a plus. • You have experience integrating with external APIs and building production services on top of them. • You are comfortable reasoning about ambiguous external platform behavior and turning that into robust internal abstractions. • You have experience designing and operating data pipelines or services that work with large-scale datasets. • You are familiar with cloud environments and modern engineering practices such as Git, CI/CD, Docker, and container orchestration. • You are comfortable collaborating with product managers and non-technical stakeholders, and can help translate platform constraints into actionable product decisions. • You have strong communication skills and work well across teams. • You care about automation, reliability, observability, and data-driven decision making. • We use AI-augmented development  style, familiarity with Claude Code or Cursor is welcome but not mandatory • Familiarity with AdTech or auction-based systems is not required, but is a plus. • The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $89,000.00 - $178,000.00. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.
