Requirements

Responsibilities
• Act as the Engineering lead within a squad, guiding the team on architectural decisions, best practices, and technical execution • Collaborate closely with frontend technical leads, ensuring smooth integration between backend and frontend services • Lead the technical strategy for backend development, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance • Own the architecture and design of backend services, establishing best practices and guiding the team on complex technical decisions • Develop and maintain robust, high-performance backend services using Node.js and NestJS (Express) • Drive technical innovation by researching and implementing new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance development processes • Ensure system reliability and performance through well-structured testing, monitoring, and logging strategies • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to align technical solutions with business goals • Mentor and coach backend developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning • Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices for backend development • Oversee deployments and production operations, ensuring high availability and fast issue resolution • Participate in hiring processes, helping to attract and assess top engineering talent
