Requirements
• Active and verifiable state medical license(s) in psychiatry • Medicaid enrollment within the state(s) of contract • Minimum 2+ years of licensed experience, preferably in the field of substance use disorder treatment • High comfort level with technology, including EMRs and telehealth platforms • Strong empathy and passion for supporting members in recovery
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with PMHNPs licensed in states where Affect operates, holding monthly or quarterly meetings based on state regulations • Review member records, make prescribing decisions, and provide medication-related counseling • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and Affect’s security standards to protect member confidentiality • Fulfill state-specific collaboration requirements • Conduct provider evaluations and maintain timely and accurate documentation in our EMR system
