Requirements
• Strong experience developing software using modern C++ (ideally C++17 or later) • Good understanding of multithreading, object-oriented programming and performance optimisation • Experience developing software across Windows, Linux or macOS • Experience using Git and modern development environments such as Visual Studio • A collaborative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and a desire to learn • Whilst not essential, experience in any of the following would be beneficial: • OpenGL or other graphics or visualisation libraries • AWS or other cloud technologies • SQL or NoSQL databases • 3D geometry, rendering or visualisation pipelines • Computer vision or image processing
Responsibilities
• Design, develop and maintain software, tools and applications across our Baseball tracking platform • Modernise and improve existing software systems • Develop cross-platform C++ applications and visualisation components • Participate in code reviews, pair programming and agile ceremonies • Support testing, debugging and deployment of new features • Continuously improve the quality, performance and maintainability of our software • Demonstrate curiosity, initiative and a passion for learning new technologies

Working in an agile environment with two-week sprints, you'll collaborate closely with experienced engineers to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions. • While modern C++ is the primary focus of this role, you'll also gain exposure to a broader technology stack including distributed systems, microservices, AWS cloud services and serverless Python APIs.
