Requirements
• Frontend: React, TypeScript • Backend: Python (FastAPI) • Cloud: AWS serverless • Security: authN/authZ, SSO/OAuth/OIDC, fine-grained permissions (RBAC/ReBAC) • 5+ years of professional full-stack experience, including strong proficiency with React and TypeScript. • Experience building access control systems, with exposure to authentication and authorization concepts (RBAC, SSO, OAuth/OIDC, multi-tenant permissions). • Strong engineering fundamentals with a passion for simplicity and precision. • Professional experience building backend services in Python (FastAPI or equivalent), including REST APIs and databases. • Experience integrating into AWS or similar cloud providers. • A genuine interest in security and access control, with exposure to authentication and authorization concepts (RBAC, SSO, OAuth/OIDC, multi-tenant permissions). • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential as we operate in a remote environment requiring clear and effective communication. • Deeper backend specialization (async patterns, performance tuning, data modeling). • DynamoDB or Postgres, SQLAlchemy. • Hands-on experience designing authorization systems at scale: fine-grained / ReBAC models, policy engines (OpenFGA or Zanzibar-style systems, OPA), or multi-tenant RBAC for enterprise SaaS.
Responsibilities
