• 2–4 years of professional design experience, ideally in an agency, creative studio, or in-house environment. • A strong portfolio demonstrating creative potential, visual taste, attention to detail, and versatility across different types of design work. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, with an interest in motion, animation, or emerging design tools considered a plus. • A solid foundation in typography, composition, color, visual hierarchy, and design principles. • Ability to work independently on assigned projects while collaborating closely with creative teammates. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. • Openness to feedback, a collaborative mindset, and a desire to continually improve your craft. • Curiosity about design, culture, technology, and the world beyond financial services. • A passion for making things look, feel, and work better. • Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is below. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions.
