• Industry: • We are seeking a highly experienced L4 Data / Wireless Network Engineer to join our Global Network Services team in Bangalore. This is a senior technical and leadership-focused role responsible for designing, architecting, implementing, optimizing, and supporting complex enterprise data and wireless networking environments across global customer infrastructures. • L4 Data / Wireless Network Engineer • The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in enterprise networking, wireless technologies, SD-WAN, datacenter networking, security, and large-scale infrastructure projects. The role requires strong customer engagement, technical leadership, advanced troubleshooting capabilities, and experience managing mission-critical network operations in global enterprise environments. • 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise Network Engineering, Architecture, and Delivery. • Expert-level understanding of LAN, WAN, Wireless, SD-WAN, VPN, campus, and datacenter networking technologies. • Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco, Arista, HP, Palo Alto, Viptela, and enterprise-grade networking platforms. • Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols including OSPF, BGP, STP, VLANs, VRFs, QoS, multicast, and network segmentation. • Advanced expertise in Cisco Wireless technologies including WLCs, CAPWAP/LWAPP, Wi-Fi 6/6E, Cisco ISE, and enterprise wireless security frameworks. • Deep understanding of wireless security protocols including WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, PEAP, RADIUS, TACACS+, ACLs, and zero-trust concepts. • Hands-on experience with Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Cisco DNA Center, SolarWinds, PRTG, and enterprise monitoring platforms. • Strong knowledge of RF design, wireless site surveys, roaming optimization, and enterprise mobility solutions. • Experience with network automation, scripting, and orchestration tools such as Python, Ansible, Terraform, or REST APIs. • Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, and cloud-integrated networking environments. • Proven experience leading complex global infrastructure projects and managing enterprise stakeholder expectations. • Excellent communication, leadership, customer engagement, and problem-solving skills. • Preferred Certifications • Cisco CCNP Certification (Required) • CCIE Certification (Preferred) • CWNP / CWNE Certifications (Preferred) • ITIL Foundation or Higher Certification • Cisco Wireless Certifications (Good to Have) • Good to Have • Experience with Cisco Catalyst 9800 Series WLCs and Wi-Fi 6/6E deployments. • Exposure to EVPN/VXLAN, SDN, SASE, and Zero-Trust networking architectures. • Experience with cloud networking integrations across AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Experience in Financial Services, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or highly regulated enterprise environments. • Exposure to AI-driven operations, network observability, and advanced automation platforms. • Work Environment • Permanent role with long-term leadership and growth opportunities. • Hybrid work model from Bangalore office. • Opportunity to work on enterprise-scale global networking and wireless transformation projects. • Exposure to cutting-edge technologies, global customers, and large-scale infrastructure environments.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the senior technical authority for enterprise data and wireless networking environments. • Provide expert-level (L4) troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and strategic resolution for complex network and wireless issues. • Design, implement, optimize, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, VPN, campus, and datacenter networking solutions. • Lead end-to-end infrastructure projects including architecture design, migration, modernization, implementation, testing, and operational handover. • Design and manage enterprise wireless environments using Cisco WLCs, Access Points, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Cisco ISE, and Mobility Services Engine (MSE). • Lead wireless optimization initiatives including RF design, roaming optimization, capacity planning, interference mitigation, and performance tuning. • Provide architectural guidance for routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, security, load balancing, and datacenter technologies. • Drive change management activities for high-impact network implementations and critical infrastructure upgrades. • Engage directly with OEM vendors, ISPs, Cisco TAC, and executive stakeholders for escalations and strategic technical discussions. • Conduct proactive monitoring, performance optimization, security reviews, and capacity planning activities. • Mentor and guide L2/L3 engineers through technical leadership, training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. • Drive automation, operational excellence, documentation standards, and process improvements across network operations. • Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, security standards, regulatory compliance, and enterprise governance frameworks. • Participate in on-call rotations, critical incident management, and after-hours project support activities.
