• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering• Professional engineering accreditation is considered an advantage
• Minimum 8 years of structural design experience• Proven experience within marine, port, waterfront, or civil infrastructure projects• Strong experience in reinforced concrete and steel structural design• Experience working within Design & Build project environments is preferred• Exposure to both permanent and temporary works design is considered an advantage
• Technical Expertise
• Strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles• Knowledge of reinforced concrete design, steel design, marine structures, geotechnical interfaces, and soil-structure interaction concepts• Familiarity with international engineering standards and design codes• Experience with structural analysis software such as SAP2000, MIDAS, STAAD Pro, PLAXIS, ANSYS, or similar platforms is preferred
• Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
• Quay wall design• Jetty design• Marine piling systems• Port infrastructure• Waterfront developments• Retaining structures• Temporary works engineering• Marine construction support
• Ability to develop practical engineering solutions that balance technical, commercial, and operational considerations• Understanding of constructability and execution challenges within marine projects• Experience supporting tender engineering and project delivery activities• Strong coordination and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary project environments
