Requirements

• PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Ability to stand on a concrete floor for long periods. • Ability to lift and/or move equipment at least 60 pounds on a repetitive basis. • Must be able to lift equipment and construction supplies from floor height to overhead while loading/unloading trucks or preparing equipment for installations, service calls, and events. • Ability to climb and work (stack, adjust, and repair) at heights in excess of 25' before/during installations and job sites. • Ability to stand, walk, climb, sit and use hands and fingers. • Reaching, grasping and carrying activities are also required. • Although most work is performed inside, occasional outside activities are subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations. • Must have a clean driving record and valid / current driver’s license. • Ability to drive a company van to client sites. • QUALIFICATIONS:   To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday - Friday • EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: • TRAVEL: Local travel to various client locations. Responsibilities

• Service, Inspecting, testing, and maintaining of low voltage systems • Troubleshoot, adjust, calibrate, align, and modify circuitry, components, and programming.  Records effects on system performance • Demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness, and dependability by following instructions and being an active listener • Adapts well to changing circumstances or conditions in the field • Pursues career development opportunities such as training and certification courses • Always maintains a professional attitude and appearance • Keeps a clean and organized work environment • Adheres to all NEW ERA policies regarding dress code, safety, attendance, etc. • Other duties may occur at your managers discretion • Some Engineering for Nurse Call • COMPETENCY: • Prior Access Control, CCTV, Security Alarm, Intercom, and Audio  experience • Obtain Avixa CTS, NICET, or other industry certifications • Proficient system programming experience • Proficient use of MS Windows PC and MS Office applications • Familiar with RTA software and acoustic measurements • Must communicate clearly and professionally, verbally and written • Valid driver’s license • Reliable transportation • Proficient with basic hand tools • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds • Ability to stoop, balance, stand, walk, sit and climb and/or work on a ladder • REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Associate Electronics degree (or minimum 5 years of experience) in systems installation, service, programming, and commissioning.
