Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) or equivalent experience. • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in C2 including leadership roles in systems analysis and design, conversion and implementation support, project management, data/records management, resources management, or database planning and design. • Additional experience and knowledge of C2 and Knowledge Management systems (e.g., GDSS, ACFP, GATES). • Experience with program/project management, process reengineering, and JCIDS requirements. • Additional experience in budget management and administration as well as preparing/transmitting periodic reports using MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Responsibilities
• Provide specific Meeting Support Material, Position Recommendation Documents, and Strategic Guidance Documents. • Possess knowledge of required airborne secure communications technologies including data links such as Link 16 and Situational Awareness Data Link (SADL), Iridium, and Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) Satellite Constellations as well as Joint Range Extension Application Protocol (JREAP). • Present complex engineering concepts in a non-technical, comprehensive format for discussion and decision-making purposes. • Develop Global Secure Airborne Communications operating concepts and requirements definition to support acquisition decisions. • Provide expertise as C2 Lead for Science and Technology efforts related to Global Secure Airborne Communications. • Provide expertise to assist with and manage Global Secure Airborne Communications and C2 Requirements, including aircraft weapon system MDS. • Generate and manage risk reduction efforts for secure airborne communications and mission planning and execution. • Provide recommendations on how technologies provide C2 and Communications capability improvements by filling Capabilities Based Assessment C2 Capabilities Analysis (C2 CA) gaps and shortfalls. • Provide support to Strategic Guidance Document Review; Strategic Guidance Document Development; Capabilities Based Analysis; Global Secure C2 Communication Support; Air Force Future C2 Operating Concept Support; and the C2 Science and Technology Program.
