• Identifying UX issues. • Using UI/UX design best practices. • Planning & conducting user research (in Userlytics, Lyssna, etc.). • Making informed design decisions using qualitative and quantitative data. • Using Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for creating high-fidelity mockups. • Ensuring designs align with overall business goals, meeting the needs of both users and stakeholders. • Iterating on design concepts using rapid prototyping, incorporating feedback from product managers and stakeholders. • Solid understanding of: • Mobile-first and responsive design. • WCAG accessibility guidelines. • HTML and CSS. • Strong commitment to owning your projects and seeing them through to successful completion. • A knack for solving complex problems, simply. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Tailoring your communication to diverse audiences (clients, stakeholders, product leads, developers, etc). • Clearly & concisely articulating design decisions, the rationale behind those decisions, and how it aligns with or supports client/company/product goals. • Hunger and ability to learn complex tools/technologies. • Willingness to travel on occasion (around 5%). • If you have all of these traits, or if you’re looking for somewhere to learn and develop them, we can’t wait to review your application. • Keep in mind that we have a tendency to pay special attention to those that put in extra effort in their applications.
