Bitstack - Software Engineer
Requirements
• Backend: Go, Python • Frontend: Flutter, Dart, TypeScript, JavaScript • Databases: SQL (basic DBMS knowledge helpful) • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience • Experience scoping, designing and delivering production systems end-to-end • Strong backend fundamentals (APIs, databases, reliability) • You will have a product mindset and care about building something that users love • Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills • Care deeply about security and working within regulated environments • Fluent English (French is a bonus)
Responsibilities
• Drive new initiatives with a willingness to challenge the status quo to push the product forward • Ship high quality, scalable, reliable products in a production environment • Work in a highly compliant environment and contribute to the larger Bitcoin ecosystem • Work with a cutting edge software development stack in a cloud-native environment • Contribute to the broader tech and open source communities • scoping, designing, delivering and supporting projects from end to end • Deep understanding of Git workflows and automation • Spectacular analytical reasoning and problem-solving • Strong communication and problem-solving • working on highly-available and resilient APIs • working in a fully cloud-native environment • working with a modern microservices stack • security and working within regulated environments • Fluent English (French is a bonus) • Work from the office in Paris (Bourse) or Remote (Europe) • Flexible working hours • One of the best health insurance plans with 100% employer contributions • Monthly team activities and bi-annual offsites • Swile meal vouchers • to find jobs, or look in the pinned messages (there is a short list of all vacancies).
