bloxd - Software Engineering Intern

• You should be studying computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related subject, or have equivalent practical experience. • You could have experience developing games or game engines through side projects. • Things you could work on during your internship • Create and manage your own game • Develop new gameplay systems inside existing games • Build new engine features for use by other game developers • Profile and optimise performance • Develop an in-game item marketplace • Improve our partner implementations, e.g. CrazyGames and Discord Activities • We have a TypeScript-first codebase and use a combination of React, WebGL, and Node. This tech allows us to deliver Bloxd in an incredibly accessible way and provides a great developer experience. You’ll need to be happy to pick these up if you’re not already familiar with them. • Internship details • This is a full-time 3-month summer internship (for either 2026 or 2027, or 3rd year 6-month placement) based in our King’s Cross office in London. You’ll work directly with our founding team and ship meaningful features to a live product used by millions of players.
