isembard - Forward Deployed Engineer

London3d ago

In Office EMEA Artificial Intelligence Airlines Frontend Engineer Reporting

Requirements

• You ship production code with minimal supervision. • Full-stack fluency across backend, frontend and integrations. • Hands-on experience applying LLMs to real workflows. • Clear communication with operators and technical leaders, and the ability to build trust on site. • The judgement to decide what matters without waiting for a ticket queue. • Willingness to travel frequently, including extended site deployments. • Forward-deployed or deployment engineering experience. • Exposure to manufacturing, CNC, aerospace or defence. • MES or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Run onboarding, training and day-to-day adoption with machinists, engineers and site operators. • Turn repeated support questions into playbooks, training material or self-service tools. You are measured on the support burden falling, not on tickets closed. • Put agentic workflows into operational use: reporting, supplier follow-ups and order status. • Ship fixes and small features into MasonOS through the same review as every other engineer. • Turn patterns from the field into clear, written requirements for the roadmap. • Prototype with any tool, but state lives in Mason: every prototype carries a decision date.

Benefits

• Define a new function rather than fill a seat. • Your work shows up on real shop floors within days. • Work with MasonOS, agentic AI and live factory operations. • Location: On-site at one of our factories in London, Dallas, Hamburg or Paris, with roughly 30 to 50 per cent of your time embedded at factory sites.
