Qualysoft - Technical Business Analyst
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. • At least 8-9 years of experience in a technical business analyst role. • Strong understanding of infrastructure platforms ex. virtualization, management plane, and security. • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proven experience in data analysis and visualization. • Experience with project management tools and methodologies. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Knowledge of the telecom ecosystem preferred
Responsibilities
• Will be responsible for analyzing complex technical systems and identifying business requirements to improve processes, workflows, and systems. This role requires excellent communication skills, infrastructure, security, technical knowledge, and a strong understanding of business processes. • Experience in compliance execution, including leading gap analyses, managing remediation plans, and maintaining evidence repositories in accordance with Ofcom requirements. • Experience working with CyberSec, IT Ops, and Corporate Security to align technical and policy requirements. • Strong Excel data analysis and reporting skills for tracking compliance metrics and presenting findings. Analyses data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. • Develop and implement technical solutions to improve processes and workflows. • Work closely with telecom platform owners, application owners, and technology teams to ensure that technical solutions meet TSR’s code of practice and requirements. • Provide technical expertise to support project management activities, including requirement gathering, gap analysis and validation. • Policy interpretation skill in translating security policies into operational controls and working with the operations teams through implementation. • Detailed understanding of the Telecom Security Act (TSA) and Code of Practice (CoP) measures, including how they apply to infrastructure, services, and compliance reporting. • Knowledge of service classification, service scoping & hosting strategy especially for cross-border infrastructure, and the ability to assess compliance risks. • Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders, including UK Corporate Security and Ofcom-facing teams • Experience supporting audits, preparing programmed board updates, and contributing to governance artefacts
