Coda - Senior/Staff Software Engineer, Back End

• Develop and maintain back end systems for web applications to ensure functionality, reliability, performance, scalability, security, compliance with standards/regulations. • Collaborate closely with frontend developers and other team members on project requirements gathering, design discussions, code reviews, testing strategies, deployment plans. • Implement new features or enhancements to existing systems based on user feedback and business needs while ensuring system stability during development cycles. • Monitor application performance using various tools; identify bottlenecks in the back end processes that impact overall website speed and responsiveness. • Optimize code for efficiency, maintainability, and scalability by refactoring legacy systems when necessary to meet current technology standards without disrupting ongoing operations. • Ensure data integrity through rigorous testing of database interactions; implement error handling mechanisms within the back end system to manage unexpected issues effectively. • Document existing APIs/systems for internal knowledge sharing and future reference, ensuring that all team members are aware of how different components interact with one another. • Stay updated on emerging technologies relevant to software engineering in Thailand; attend workshops or training sessions when available to enhance personal skill set and contribute effectively within the development team.
