confluent - Senior Software Engineer - Frontend

• Build mission-critical experiences that deliver tangible value to our customers. You will play a key role in architecting, designing, developing, and operationalising high-performance, scalable, reliable, and resilient user experiences. • Partner with engineering teams and key stakeholders to drive the execution of complex technical projects end-to-end within defined timelines. • Propose, lead, and implement technical initiatives that align the team with industry best practices around code quality, observability, and testing. • Guide the team and contribute to architectural design decisions, providing feedback and direction on the delivery of technical architecture. • Uphold a high standard of engineering excellence by actively participating in technical discussions, reviewing specifications, and making thoughtful recommendations • Take ambiguous technical problem statements and transform them into actionable plans, driving execution in collaboration with the team. • 4+ years of industry experience in designing, building, scaling, and supporting front-end systems in production, with a strong foundation in software engineering best practices such as code reviews, quality assurance, and thorough documentation. • Familiarity with software development tools (e.g., Semaphore CI, Jenkins) and practices that streamline and optimize all phases of the development lifecycle. • Strong focus on project delivery and effective communication, with a customer-centric mindset, a collaborative approach to teamwork, and a demonstrated track record of technical leadership and mentorship. • Proven experience in mentoring team members by providing constructive feedback, supporting their technical development, and guiding them in their career growth. • Strong understanding of JS fundamentals and hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (especially ES6+), React, HTML, and CSS, and unit and integration testing frameworks. • Experience in building user-centric applications and large-scale frontend infrastructures. • READY TO BUILD WHAT'S NEXT?
