Requirements
• 5+ years of industry software development experience • Experience crafting polished UI/UX and API services end-to-end • Background in working on small teams in fast-paced environments • Intellectually curious, independently driven, and passionate about great products • A growth mindset, high emotional intelligence, and strong communication skills • Bonus: Experienced with our stack of TypeScript, React, and Postgres • Bonus: Experienced in B2B SaaS, developer tools, or a related industry • The annual US base salary falls within the range of $175,000 to $250,000. This range does not encompass the full spectrum of benefits such as equity, health insurance, vacation time, and paid parental leave. This salary range covers multiple levels of engineering roles and final compensation will be determined considering various factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. • For candidates outside the US, including Canada, compensation is adjusted based on local market benchmarks.
Responsibilities
• Designing user interfaces for dashboard and admin portal components within WorkOS' product suite. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the design meets business needs. • Developing prototypes of new features, conducting usability testing, and iterating based on feedback. • Implementing frontend code using modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) for responsive dashboard designs. • Ensuring accessibility standards are met in all digital products created or modified. • Participating in regular design sprints to prioritize and plan new features with the engineering team. • Conducting performance testing on newly developed components to ensure they meet efficiency benchmarks set by WorkOS. • Documenting UI/UX designs, code changes, and test results for future reference and knowledge transfer within teams.
