Kunai - Senior Cloud Engineer

• 5+ yrs experience with public cloud providers, e.g. AWS, GCP, or Azure • Tangible history with DevOps tools, beyond using buzzwords, focusing on Production Readiness & Operations • Experience designing resilient systems • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) • Embracing existing proprietary CI/CD pipeline reconfiguration (ARGO) • Experience with container orchestration (ECS, Docker) • Experience with automation scripting (Python, Bash) • Experience with service configuration and deployment automation • Configuring Security Groups • Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Business Analytics, Computer Engineering, Computer and Information Science, Economics, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematics. Individuals who lack a bachelor’s degree may be considered if they have demonstrated three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience with DevOps tools and cloud environments for each missing year of college in addition to the five (5) years of experience required. • Nice-to-haves: • Migration strategy – Runbook, validation and sequencing of migration • Deep understanding of AWS services and inter-account networking • Cross-account IAM roles, policies, and resource sharing • Multi-account strategies and AWS Organizations • Application architecture assessment and dependency mapping • AWS Batch, AWS Lambda, Web Architecture • Security Groups and configurations • This role is remote but core working hours align to EST.
