Requirements
• Experience building and shipping production systems, ideally in early-stage or fast-moving environments • Proven ability to design systems where speed and reliability genuinely matter • Strong Python and TypeScript experience • Familiarity with blockchain products or on-chain systems • Good product judgement and the ability to connect technical decisions to user outcomes • Familiar with Solidity and EVM-based development, including writing, deploying and interacting with smart contracts • Comfortable working in ambiguity and making progress without a fixed playbook • A hands-on, practical mindset with a bias towards shipping • We’re open to speaking with experienced contractors, independent consultants, solo builders and senior technical operators who want to work hands-on on an ambitious early-stage product. • If you want to help shape an ambitious product at an early stage and do meaningful hands-on work from day one, we’d love to hear from you. • Improbable Candidate Privacy Policy https://www.improbable.io/candidate-privacy-policy
Responsibilities
• Own the technical roadmap from early research and prototyping through to production • Design and build the core systems behind live market creation, pricing and decision-making • Make key architecture decisions, balancing speed, reliability, cost and scale • Build quickly, test ideas early and strengthen what works after validation • Work closely with the GM to shape the product experience, not just the underlying technology • Collaborate with infrastructure partners • Use AI tools and agents as a practical force multiplier to speed up thinking, building and delivery
