Gemini - Senior Software Engineer, Trading Systems (Full Stack)

• Proficiency with Golang (preferred) or equivalent back-end experience in Java, Scala, or similar; strong back-end engineers with comparable experience will be considered • Proficiency with TypeScript (React) for front-end development • At least 6 years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on design, development, and delivery of scalable, distributed systems • Experience building microservices deployed on AWS and Kubernetes • Track record of working with a distributed design and development effort • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with solid organizational skills and attention to detail • Engaging communicator with a knack for precision and conciseness • Independent decision maker able to act decisively based on your domain expertise • Understanding of communication protocols, specifically FIX, Websocket, REST and GraphQL • Understanding of centralized financial exchanges (CeFi) • Understanding of central limit order books and other liquidity providers • Experience at a startup or high-growth technology company; demonstrated ability to operate with ownership and autonomy • Background in crypto, equities trading, or prediction markets • It Pays to Work Here • We take a holistic approach to compensation at Gemini, which includes: • Comprehensive health plans covered at 100% for employees and dependents • Long-term incentive in the form of a new hire equity grant • Paid Parental Leave • Competitive paid time off • In Singapore, we have a hybrid work policy.
