Logz.io - Full Stack Team Lead

• Lead and grow a team of full-stack engineers working across application and backend services • Manage a distributed team environment with both remote and in-office engineers • Own the technical direction of the product application and its supporting services • Stay hands-on by designing and reviewing production code across the stack • Guide the team in delivering complex features end-to-end • Work closely with product managers, designers, and platform teams to drive product development • Improve engineering practices, development workflows, and code quality. • Help the team navigate a rich microservice ecosystem • Ensure the team delivers reliable, scalable systems used by engineering teams worldwide • 7+ years of software development experience • Previous experience leading or mentoring engineers • Strong production experience with modern web technologies (React, TypeScript) • Solid backend experience working with APIs and distributed systems • Experience working in large codebases or microservice architectures • Strong architectural thinking and ability to guide technical decisions • Experience managing or collaborating with distributed teams • Ability to stay hands-on while leading a team • Strong communication skills in English • Experience with Kotlin or JVM-based backend services • Familiarity with observability systems or data-heavy platforms • Experience with modern frontend tooling and monorepos • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure • Experience working with real-time or high-scale data systems • You lead by example and enjoy being deeply involved in the code • You care about both team health and technical excellence • You’re comfortable navigating complex systems and large codebases • You value pragmatic architecture and simple, maintainable solutions • You enjoy helping engineers grow while building great products
