Requirements
• Deep expertise in software engineering for telephony/voice solutions. • Previous experience working in public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP. • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes or similar container platforms. • Familiarity with highly automated deployments through Infrastructure as Code (using Terraform or similar). • Experience coding and security best practices relevant to the role. • Significant experience in SIP protocol, including signalling and handling various media sessions like Proxy, SBC, Gateway, Trunk, Registration, and bridged media sessions. • Proficiency with programming languages such as C/C++ oriented towards VoIP software development. • Experience installing modules of open-source telephony softwares like Asterisk and Freeswitch (configuration, compilation).
Responsibilities
• Designing telecommunication services. • Shipping and maintaining capture platforms and tools in a multi-cloud environment across many geographies. • Supporting production systems for the Dubber platform. • Collaborating with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams to deliver robust solutions related to call recording and transcription technologies. • Modernising and simplifying existing capture capabilities of Dubber's platforms using C/C++ programming skills focused on VoIP software development. • Working with SIP protocol including signalling aspects for various components such as Proxy, SBC, Gateway, Trunk, Registration, and bridged media sessions. • Experience in the configuration, compilation, and installation of Asterisk or Freeswitch modules to enhance Dubber's capture functionalities. • Familiarity with OpenSIPs for load balancing purposes within telephony services provided by Dubber.
