• Own end-to-end compensation philosophy, leveling frameworks, pay structures, and communications to employees and managers • Design and manage benefits strategy across all geographies (US, UK, Canada, Australia) • Partner with Finance on headcount planning, compensation modeling, and bonus and equity administration • People Operations & Infrastructure • Oversee and scale core systems (Justworks, Deel, Culture Amp, Ashby, Pave, HRIS) • Leverage AI tools and automation to increase efficiency and impact while reducing friction for our team • Build data-driven insights and people analytics to inform leadership decisions • Risk & Compliance • Own employee relations, policies, and compliance across all jurisdictions • Ensure strong documentation and risk-aware decision-making • Protect the company while maintaining fairness and credibility • THE IDEAL LEADER • 10+ years in People / Talent roles, with 2+ years leadership experience at the Head or VP level in high-growth B2B SaaS and AI-native organizations • Experience in scaling global, remote-first companies from 100 to 500+ employees and managing their growing pains • Strong business and operator mindset—track record of connecting HR programs to team performance, velocity, retention, engagement, and business outcomes • Deep expertise in performance management, total rewards, and L&D • Comfort in making and advising on high-stakes talent decisions • Excellent communicator to all levels and roles of an organization • Ability to influence, build trust, and constructively challenge executives • Data-driven approach to people strategy • Creative, empathetic, and people-centered while being business-minded • Comfortable operating with velocity despite ambiguity • OUR CULTURE AND VALUES: • We own and solve problems with high attention to detail. • Our open source contributors, users, customers & team are all part of our community.
