Requirements
• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accountancy or a Professional Qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, ISCA, CPA). • More than 6 years of working experience in the related field. An audit background would be a bonus. • Strong communication/coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders, including other company functions, management and external auditors. • Independent and self-motivated, with good interpersonal skills, with the ability lead a team and supervise team members closely on technical matters • Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and tax compliance matters • Well-versed in MS Office and Netsuite ERP system
Responsibilities
• Responsible for overseeing and leading a group of accountants to ensure the completion of the assigned subsidiaries’ management accounts monthly. • Mentor and collaborate with the local finance operations team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and high standards of delivery. • Ensure that subsidiaries comply with local and Group financial reporting standards and implement financial controls and processes. • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including external auditors as required to ensure compliance. • Collaborate with Tax to ensure compliance with local tax laws and WHT/VAT filings. • Help identify areas for process optimisation and improvement and work on ad-hoc projects assigned.
