• Design, build and maintain high quality datasets for engineers to build robust customer facing reporting • Collaborate closely with engineers to assess and mitigate the impact of upstream product changes • Apply domain knowledge to develop semantic layers for business intelligence • Develop data models optimized for efficient querying over large datasets, specifically for reports embedded within our main platform • Success in this role will depend most on your approach, underlying skills and potential for growth, even if some of the above would be new to you. We’d love to hear from you if you have proven experience in the following areas: • You are proficient in transforming, testing, and documenting data while maintaining a robust data lineage. • You are knowledgeable in data modelling, data access, and data storage techniques • You have experience following software engineering best practices like version control and continuous integration • You have strong proficiency using SQL in cloud data warehouses (we use Snowflake) and are comfortable with performance optimization, data partitioning, and window functions • You are able to operate effectively and autonomously across multiple teams in situations of ambiguity, with only high-level direction • Experience with dbt for data transformation layer • Experience with BI tooling such as Power BI or Looker • Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP is a plus • Immersive’s growth has been fuelled by our values that underpin everything we do, here's how they relate to this role: • Driven - We push the boundaries of innovation, acting swiftly to achieve ambitious outcomes.
