• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or related field required. • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or grants management, preferably in an international non-profit or humanitarian organization. • Experience working with EU-funded grants and understanding of EU grant financial reporting requirements is strongly preferred. • Knowledge with Belgian ASBL financial/reporting compliance is a must. • Familiarity with multi-country financial operations in Europe is a must. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas) and experience with accounting/ERP systems. • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English required. • Working knowledge of French or Dutch is an asset. • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote, cross-cultural environment. • Must be based in Belgium and eligible to work in the EU. • Committed to practicing and supporting wellbeing and a work-home life balance. • Be disciplined and nimble to ensure delivery on our core mission of access to justice and protection of children’s wellbeing and rights. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (such as Teams, Excel, etc.). • Ability to work collaboratively and multi-task in our KIND environment, managing numerous priorities and emerging opportunities. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment; ability to prioritize tasks and delegate as appropriate. • Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. • Experience working and communicating in a remote environment preferred but not required. • Application Instructions • To be considered for this role, please submit an employment application at supportkind.org/join-the-team, along with your resume and cover letter. • Disclaimer: KIND is committed to an ethical recruitment and hiring process and maintains a firm “no fees” recruitment policy.
