Responsibilities

• Oversee the engineering team to ensure product quality and timely delivery of projects. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, sales, customer service, etc., for alignment on business goals and strategies. • Develop technical roadmaps in consultation with senior management and other stakeholders based on company objectives and industry trends. • Lead the engineering team to implement best practices across all aspects of software development life cycle (SDLC). • Participate actively in product strategy meetings, providing input from a technical perspective where necessary. • Mentor junior engineers by sharing knowledge about current technologies and industry trends while fostering their professional growth within the company culture. • Monitor project progress against timelines using various tools to ensure projects are on track for delivery without compromising quality standards. • Review, analyze, and provide feedback on code submissions from team members in a constructive manner that promotes continuous improvement of coding practices among peers. • Represent the engineering department at executive meetings by providing insights into technical challenges faced during project development or execution phases. • Engage with customers to understand their needs better, which helps inform product design and feature prioritization decisions made within the team. • Participate in regular code reviews as a peer reviewer while also being open to receiving feedback on one's own work from colleagues for mutual improvement of coding practices among peers. • Stay abreast with emerging technologies and industry trends by attending relevant conferences, webinars or training sessions in order to bring innovative ideas back into the team environment that can improve product development processes. • Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance (QA) teams throughout all stages of software testing lifecycle for effective identification and resolution of bugs before release deadlines are met without compromising on quality standards or timelines set by senior management. • Actively seek opportunities to improve team efficiency through process optimization, automation where possible while ensuring that changes do not negatively impact productivity levels within the engineering department as a whole over time due diligence is exercised before implementing any new processes across all teams in company operations at large scale level. • Maintain open communication channels with senior management and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on business goals, strategies while also providing regular updates regarding progress made by engineering team members towards achieving these objectives over time through periodic reporting mechanisms established internally within organizational structures based upon agreed performance metrics across all departments working together cohesively toward common company-wide success targets set forth at executive level decision making processes conducted periodically throughout fiscal year cycles. • Participate in recruitment efforts by reviewing applications, analyzing resumes and assessing responses from candidates for potential fit
