Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain software systems for card games within the company's portfolio of products. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and ensure technical feasibility. • Write clean, efficient code that adheres to coding standards and best practices established by Zopa. • Test software components for bugs and performance issues using a variety of testing methods (unit tests, integration tests, etc.). • Troubleshoot complex problems related to card game systems under tight deadlines or during peak usage times. • Document codebase thoroughly with clear comments and maintain updated technical documentation as needed. • Participate in regular stand-up meetings and sprint planning sessions for ongoing project alignment within the team. • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, sharing knowledge about card game software development practices at Zopa. • Stay informed of industry trends related to gaming technology and apply relevant updates or innovations in projects when appropriate.
