Requirements
• 3 years of content marketing and SEO experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, logistics, supply chain, or technology industries • Proven SEO expertise with demonstrated ability to optimize content for search rankings and drive organic traffic growth • Freelancer management experience: Track record of successfully managing freelance writers, agencies, or external content creators to deliver high-quality work on deadline • Project management skills: Ability to manage 20-25+ content projects simultaneously, juggle multiple deadlines, and keep writers on schedule • Strong research and brief-writing skills: Ability to quickly understand complex technical topics and translate them into clear, detailed content briefs for writers • Technical SEO knowledge: Deep understanding of keyword research, on-page optimization, information gain, internal linking strategies, content structure, and technical SEO elements • Excellent editing and on-page SEO skills: Ability to edit for clarity, accuracy, brand voice, and SEO optimization while maintaining the writer's voice • Self-starter mindset: Comfortable working independently, managing your own workload, and making decisions with minimal supervision • Tool proficiency: Experience with SEMrush, Google Analytics, HubSpot (or similar CMS), Google Search Console, and project management tools • Portfolio or work samples: Must provide examples of content briefs created, content managed/edited, or SEO results from managed content • WORKING AT LOADSMART: • Competitive base salaries - we believe in rewarding top talent • Extremely competitive Equity package - become a shareholder in our company! • Loadie Time Off - PTO and sick days without a limit • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Responsibilities
• Develop and implement content marketing strategies to promote the company's products/services online. • Conduct keyword research and optimize website copy for search engines. • Create engaging blog posts, articles, social media updates, newsletters, and other forms of digital content that resonate with target audiences. • Analyze data from various marketing campaigns to measure effectiveness and ROI. • Collaborate with the sales team to align messaging across channels for consistent brand communication. • Stay current on industry trends, best practices in SEO/SEM (Search Engine Optimization/Search Engine Marketing), content creation tools, analytics platforms like Google Analytics and Adobe Audience Manager. • Manage the company's social media presence by posting regular updates, engaging with followers, monitoring brand mentions across channels to respond promptly when necessary. • Oversee all aspects of a marketing campaign from conception through execution including planning content calendars, setting goals and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), creating bait copy for lead magnets/offers, designing landing pages, managing email sequences, A/B testing different elements to optimize performance. • Develop creative concepts that align with the brand's voice while appealing to target audiens and driving engagement across all digital platforms used by the company (e.g., website, blog, social media). • Write compelling product descriptions for eCommerce listings on Amazon Marketplace or other online retailers using SEO best practices that drive traffic back to the brand's primary site/content hub. • Coordinate with web design and development teams as needed to ensure content is seamlessly integrated into existing digital platforms, including website redesign projects when necessary for improved user experience (UX) or search engine visibility. • Provide regular reports on campaign performance metrics such as traffic volume, lead generation rates, conversion rates, engagement levels across all channels and mediums used by the company to inform future marketing strategies/campaign decisions. • Attend industry events like conferences, webinars or workshops relevant to content marketing best practices when possible for continuous learning opportunities that can be applied back into strategy development efforts at home base office location (if applicable).
