Requirements

• Hands-on Site Reliability Engineering experience. • Being on-call for cloud services maintenance. • Experience managing Kubernetes production clusters at scale. • Proven track record of cluster upgrades and resource optimization (autoscaling, quotas). • Troubleshooting complex networking or scheduling issues in a Kubernetes environment. • Managing Kubernetes lifecycles with experience implementing security best practices such as RBAC and Network Policies. • Maintaining high availability for containerized workloads. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, particularly proficient in Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cloud infrastructure for Beamery's platform services to ensure high availability and performance standards are met consistently across all regions where the company operates globally. This includes managing server provisioning, scaling resources as needed based on demand forecasts, monitoring system health in real time using automated tools, performing routine maintenance tasks such as patch management, backups, and disaster recovery drills to ensure business continuity without interruption of services for our clients. • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement best practices around cloud architecture design that optimize cost efficiency while maintaining robust security measures against potential cyber threats. This includes reviewing architectural designs before implementation, providing feedback on proposed changes and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001 for information security management systems (ISMS). • Work closely with the DevOps team to streamline deployment processes using continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. This includes setting up automated testing environments, monitoring deployments in real time and troubleshooting issues as they arise promptly without impacting end users' experience negatively or causing downtime for our services which are critical to the business operations of Beamery clients worldwide. • Participate actively in code reviews with peers within your team, providing constructive feedback on proposed changes and ensuring that all modifications align with company policies regarding coding standards before merging them into production environments where they become part of our live services offered to customers globally across multiple platforms including mobile apps (iOS/Android), web applications hosted in the cloud or directly from Beamery's servers. • Engage regularly with cross-functional teams such as product management, marketing and customer support representatives by attending weekly meetings where updates on upcoming features are discussed along with user feedback collected through surveys conducted internally within our organization; this helps us understand evolving needs from both internal stakeholders (employees) & external partners/clients better so that we can prioritize development efforts accordingly while ensuring alignment between business goals set forth by senior management and technical capabilities available at hand. • Maintain open communication channels with other departments within Beamery such as HR, IT security or legal counsel when necessary regarding any potential changes affecting employees' working conditions directly related to their roles; this includes discussions around compensation packages offered based on experience level and qualifications required for specific projects undertaken by teams under your supervision along with ensuring compliance against regulatory requirements imposed upon us due diligently following local laws governing employment practices within each country where we operate globally. • Attend quarterly performance reviews conducted internally at Beamery headquarters located in London, UK; this includes presenting progress reports detailing completed tasks along with any challenges faced during implementation
